Achievements of OAG
- The Jubbaland Auditor General was appointed in 2018. The office is quite new and PREMIS is helping us establish the institutional framework of the office through funds provided by UKs Department for International Development (DFID) and the European Union.
- The institutions legal framework is in place with the audit act passed in 2016.
- We are in the process of recruiting professional staff through the civil service commission, renting an office and procuring office equipment and furniture through the help of our partners mainly the PREMIS project.
